Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox born December 25 of 1954 in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson, and Thomas Allison Lennox were her parents. Lennox was accepted into the Royal Academy of Music in London during the 1970s when she learned the flute piano and the harpsichord over three years. She managed to make it by surviving on a student stipend, while working part time jobs. Lennox made the decision to alter her profession following her dissatisfaction with her inexperience in the same way as other Royal Academy students. Lennox joined a group called Dragons Playground as the flute player in 1976. But she quit before her band was asked to participate in I.T.V.'s talent competition New Faces. From 1977 until 1980 she was lead vocalist for The Tourists, a British Pop group. They met Dave Stewart, with whom she would form the pop-duo Eurythmics. Lennox was then able to begin work on her debut solo album Diva and it was released in 1992. This album became a huge achievement, both in terms of sales and the critical acclaim. Nostalgia Lennox's sixth solo record came out in November of 2014. The C.D. Lennox chose her favorite soul jazz blues tracks from early childhood. Lepidoptera contains four improvised keyboard tracks. The E.P. The E.P. is her debut solo album, and is a sequel to an art installation she made at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art called Now I Let You go...
